Justine Edmonds Promoted to director, Build to Rent at LRG

LRG has promoted Justine Edmonds to director of Build to Rent (BTR).
Edmonds steps up from her previous role as head of Build to Rent / Leasing Strategies, bringing more than two decades of UK property experience to the position.
Edmonds, who is qualified in interior design, oversees the group’s consumer-focused division LRG Living Markets, which she was instrumental in establishing.
Edmonds said: ‘BTR is maturing quickly. Investors are asking sharper questions about operating costs, resident outcomes and long-term resilience, not just initial lease-up.
“My focus has always been on helping schemes succeed across the full lifecycle, from early appraisal through to mobilisation and optimisation. I’m excited to lead the next stage of LRG Living Markets’ growth with our partners across the sector.’
Michael Cook, chief executive officer of LRG, commented: “Justine combines deep sector knowledge of what makes BTR assets succeed over the long term. She has built outstanding relationships across the investment and development landscape and has helped shape an operating model that is commercially strong and genuinely resident-focused. Her expertise is reflected in the strength of our Living Markets growth story.”
Armalytix appoints Alex Mangan as head of sales

Armalytix has appointed Alex Mangan as head of sales following its expansion beyond conveyancing to work more closely with estate agents, brokers and lenders on financial verification earlier in the property transaction process.
Mangan has more than 14 years’ experience working with law firms and professional services organisations and will be responsible for developing the company’s sales activity beyond conveyancing and building partnerships across the property sector.
After studying business management at the University of Surrey, he held senior roles at BigHand and Thomson Reuters, where he was part of the Legal Professionals Europe management team, supporting firms through regulatory change and operational pressure.
In his new role, Mangan will focus on developing partnerships across all parties to property transactions, and working with firms that are increasingly expected to prepare clients for financial verification earlier in the transaction, and supporting a more connected approach to compliance across the chain.
Mangan commented: “Having worked with firms under intense regulatory and operational pressure, I’ve seen first-hand how fragmented processes create delays and risk. Armalytix is addressing that challenge at a property-market level, not just within conveyancing, and I’m excited to bring my experience to help drive a more connected, data-led approach to financial verification.”
Savills strengthens Co-Living team with senior director

Savills has appointed Charlie Weatherill as a director in its Operational Capital Markets (OCM) division. He will be based at the firm’s Margaret Street office in London.
Weatherill will focus on the co-living sector, with an emphasis on development funding, alongside work on Savills Capital Advisors mandates.
He previously spent more than a decade at Savills, where he was a founding member of the OCM division. He later joined Telford Homes as capital markets director and a board member, with responsibility for investor relationships, deal structuring and transactions. More recently, he has worked as a senior consultant on projects related to empty homes.
During his career, Weatherill has been involved in raising more than £5bn of equity, supporting over 45 residential development projects and around 15,000 new homes across the UK.
Weatherill commented: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Savills. Co‑Living is becoming a vital part of the UK’s rental landscape. With rising costs and a shrinking Private Rented Sector, it offers a practical, high-quality housing solution that delivers value for money while meeting the evolving needs of urban renters. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues in OCM and Savills Capital Advisors to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.”
Andrew Brentnall, executive director, OCM at Savills, said, “We are delighted to welcome Charlie back to Savills. His leading expertise in development, funding and deal execution, together with his strong industry relationships, will be a significant asset to our clients. He will work alongside Lizzie Beagley, our head of UK PBSA & Co‑Living, and we look forward to seeing the team continue to grow.”
