Real Bowl, an Italian startup for the sustainable fresh pet food that Alberto Alfonso (ceo), Lorenzo Tecchio (coo and cto) and Leonardo Colturato (production manager) founded in 2020, secured a 3.2 million euros seed round from a pool of private investors, sources close to the company said to BeBeez (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Gianni & Origoni and VescoGiaretta Group acted as deal advisors. The sources said that the raised resources include the 2024 investment of Terra Next, an acceleration programme of CDP Venture Capital, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and Cariplo Factory. In 2024, Real Bowl received a 0.5 million convertible loan of 0.5 million from Intesa Sanpaolo. Stefano Molino is the head of the acceleration programmes of CDP Venture Capital.
Johix, an Italian enabler for operative leasing that owns the platform JX, attracted a 0.3 million euros strategic investment from MB Speedup, a joint venture that Mediobanca signed with London’s Founders Factory and in which poured 12 million (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest most of such resources in marketing initiatives and 30% of them in its proprietary technology. Andrea Francalancia founded Johix in 2019 for providing SMEs with leasing and financing solutions in support of strategies of international expansion. Andrea Guzzoni is the sector director of Founders Factory Italy. Jessica Spina is the chief strategy officer of Mediobanca.
