Commerz Real, part of Frankfurt-listed Commerzbank, fetched 470 million di euros out of the sale of 105000 sqms Galleria Commerciale – Centro Commerciale Oriocenter to a vehicle of Generali Real Estate whose even subscribers are Gruppo Percassi and Generali Shopping Centers Fund (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Intesa Sanpaolo, Cushman & Wakefield and Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici advised Gruppo Percassi. Generali Real Estate retained Chiomenti and Yard Reaas.
Milan Municipality is going to sell San Siro stadium and the surrounding area to Italian football clubs AC Milan (RedBird Capital Partners) and FC Inter (Oaktree) (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The 197 million euros worth sale may close by 10 November, Monday. Architect firms Manica and Foster + Partners will handle the project for a new stadium whose construction may end in 2031. Nido Living, an European students housing platform that belongs to CPP Investments, acquired from Prelios a residence with 600 beds that Hines developed within Sesto San Giovani (Milan area) Unionezero (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Nido said it aims to carry on further buys. Hines allocated 600 million euros for the development of Unionezero with Cale Street (Kuwait Investment Authority). Carlo Matta is the ceo of Nido while Giuseppe Zafferri is the company’s Italian country manager.
