Serenis, an Italian scaleup that developed a digital platform for mind and body health, secured a Series A investment round of 12 million euros that attracted the resources of lead investors Angelini Ventures and CDP Venture Capital, Azimut Libera Impresa, X-Equity Venture Club, Invictus Capital, Lumen Ventures, FG2 Capital, Club degli Investitori, and the investors of the platform Doorway (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest such resources in its organic growth, proprietary technology and the launch of Serenis Nutrizione. Invictus Capital is a vehicle that Alberto Chalon created with CDP and the European Investment Fund. Silvia Wang and Daniele Francescon founded Serenis in 2021. Lexroom.ai secured a Series A round of 16 million euros that Silicon Valley’s Base10 Partners led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The legaltech startup also attracted the resources of Acurio Ventures, Riccardo Zacconi, Entourage, Verve Ventures, Joe Zadeh. and View Different, a vehicle of Diego Piacentini that will act as senior advisor to the company. Rexhi Dollaku, General Partner of Base10, will join the board of Lexroom.ai that will invest such proceeds in its international growth.
SylloTips, an Italian startup publisher of a native Microsoft Teams software for human-in-the-loop orchestrated AI agents and governed memory, secured a seed round of 4.2 million euros from lead investors Azimut Eltif-Venture Capital ALIcrowd III and IV, two vehicles that Azimut Libera Impresa manages, Leo Capital, The Techshop, Techstars (which provided the company with the incubation support of 2024 Techstars Transformative World Torino), and Cloud Accelerator (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest such proceeds in its proprietary technology and organic growth. BonelliErede acted as deal advisor and Giovannella Condò as public notary. Giorgio Barnabò, PhD (ceo and cro), coo Leonardo Martini, PhD, and Simone Silvestri (cpo and cto) founded SylloTips in 2023. Martin Olczyk is the ceo of Techstars Transformative World Torino. Gianluca D’Agostino is the ceo of The Techshop. Vincenzo Esposito (ceo of Microsoft Italia), Nicoletta Mastropietro, Maurizio Bobbio and Lorenzo Congiu will join SylloTips board. TextYess, an Italian startup provider of AI-based solutions for e-commerce, secured a seed round of 2.4 million euros from lead investor VC Partners and Belgium’s Entourage (see here a previous post by BeBeez). TextYess will invest such proceeds in its proprietary technology and international expansion. The company also attracted the resources of German Angel Invest Ventures, Filippo Conforti, David Clarke, Gianluca Cocco, Mattia Montepara, Michele Attisani, Federico Sargenti, Luca Rodella, Paolo Fois, Marco Castello, and Gabriele Tagliavia. Riccardo Russo and Edvaldo Gjonikaj founded TextYess in 2023. Ilaria Carofiglio and Pietro di Chio joined the firm in the same year. In 2023, TextYess attracted 0.45 million pre-seed resources from Exor Ventures, Club degli Investitori and other business angels. Stefano Siglienti, Roberta Vercellotti and Alberto Grignolo founded VC Partners in 2024 while Pieterjan Bouten and Evert Beeckman created Entourage.
Unicredit, Banca Sella, ING, KBC, Danske Bank, DekaBank, SEB, CaixaBank, and Raiffeisen Bank International said that by 2H26 they will issue a Euro-linked stablecoin compliant with EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) that aims to become a reliable European standard for payments in the digital ecosystem (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The consortium of banks created a Netherlands newco that will soon appoint a ceo and applied for the licence of electronic money institution under the supervision of the Dutch Central Bank. Further banks can join the newco that is waiting for the approval of the regulators. The banks aim to provide an European alternative to the US-dominated stablecoin market, contributing to Europe’s strategic autonomy in payments. Individual banks will be able to provide value-added services, such as stablecoin wallets and custody services. Fiona Melrose is UniCredit head of Group Strategy & ESG. In 1H25, Milan-listed venture capital Zest posted net losses of 0.33 million euros and said it aims to launch a capital increase of up to 4.5 million euros (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
