Stockholm-based TrusTrace has been selected by ASOS to provide the fashion retailer with deeper visibility and accountability across its global supply chain. The partnership will see ASOS integrate TrusTrace’s platform to map suppliers from finished goods down to raw materials, while also centralizing compliance data and enabling real-time risk monitoring. For TrusTrace, which works with a number of international brands on supply chain traceability, the deal reflects growing industry demand for standardized, verifiable supplier data in response to tightening sustainability and due diligence regulations. By embedding its technology into ASOS’s operations, TrusTrace will play a role in helping the retailer manage risk, improve supplier collaboration, and adapt to an increasingly regulated global fashion landscape.
TrusTrace is a Stockholm-based technology company that provides supply chain traceability and compliance solutions for global brands and suppliers. Its platform collects, digitizes, and validates supplier and material data to help organizations manage risk, meet regulatory requirements, and improve transparency across complex supply chains. TrusTrace operates offices in India, France, and the US.
“ASOS’s decision to partner with TrusTrace reflects a growing industry shift toward data-driven accountability and ethical transparency,” said Shameek Ghosh, CEO and Co-Founder of TrusTrace. “Our platform will empower ASOS with high-resolution supplier data, centralize documentation, and seamlessly integrate with existing systems to streamline and future-proof compliance and sustainability efforts.”
ASOS is a UK-based online fashion retailer serving more than 18 million active customers across over 200 markets. The company offers a mix of own-brand products and partner-brand items, supported by an in-house design team and flexible fulfillment model. ASOS focuses on delivering accessible fashion trends while managing a complex global supply chain that spans multiple tiers of suppliers.
As part of its ongoing Fashion with Integrity strategy, ASOS is investing in robust traceability infrastructure to gain real-time visibility into its supply chain, down to farm level (Tier 5). By integrating TrusTrace’s AI-enhanced platform, ASOS will be able to streamline operations across risk, compliance, and impact management, ensuring timely access to trusted data that enables proactive decision-making, due diligence and compliance.
“Our partnership with TrusTrace is a key milestone in our updated Fashion with Integrity programme,” said Elena Martínez Ortiz, EVP of Product at ASOS. “TrusTrace enables us to improve product traceability, helping us meet compliance standards, understand and address risks, and boost resilience in our supply chain by supporting our suppliers to implement improvements.”
The TrusTrace platform will provide ASOS with end-to-end supply chain visibility, mapping suppliers from Tier 1 to Tier 5 and offering verified product-level traceability from raw materials to the final product. It will centralize compliance documentation to help navigate evolving global regulations and offer configurable analytics and reporting tools to support supplier collaboration and ESG reporting. Designed to be scalable, the platform delivers a secure and flexible infrastructure that can adapt to ASOS’s growth and the changing regulatory landscape, supporting the company’s long-term strategy for supply chain transparency and resilience.
“Our collaboration with ASOS marks a significant step forward – not just for our companies, but for the industry as a whole,” Ghosh added. “Together, we’re demonstrating how traceability can be embedded at scale to create a more resilient, responsible fashion ecosystem.”
