Although many European VCs have set their out-of-office replies and headed off on holiday, they took the time to write some job listings first.
Sifted noticed a number of VC firms posting about job openings in recent weeks and months — and decided to chronicle which firms are on the hunt for fresh talent.
Some firms have opened up junior roles like associates and analysts — but more senior roles like VP of investor relations and finance are also on the market.

Role(s): Analyst/associate
The Swiss VC has backed the likes of German AI translation startup DeepL and German energy startup 1Komma5. It’s in search of an analyst/associate, based in Berlin. The role will entail sourcing deals and preparing research.
Aenu
HQ: Berlin
Role(s): Finance and fund operations manager
Berlin-based climate VC Aenu, which backs seed and Series A startups, is hunting for a new finance and fund operations manager. The role, to be based out of Berlin, will work across fund operations, compliance, investor reporting and internal finance.
Northzone
HQ: London
Role(s): Stockholm associate
The London firm is looking for a new associate in its Stockholm office. The new hire will work on deal sourcing, diligence, networking, thesis building and portfolio support.
Project A
HQ: Berlin
Role(s): Finance manager
The German VC, which has backed defence startups like Quantum Systems and ARX Robotics, is hiring for a new finance manager in its Berlin office. The firm recently raised a €325m fund – its fifth and largest.
Octopus Ventures
HQ: London
Role(s): Venture capital valuation manager
The UK-based firm, whose portfolio includes secondhand fashion app Depop and property marketplace Zoopla, is looking for a venture capital valuation manager to be based in London for 14 months. The role will include preparing portfolio valuations, analysing company data and contributing to investment track record analysis.
HV Capital
HQ: Berlin and Munich
Role(s): Intern
The German VC firm, which counts spacetech Isar Aerospace and delivery giant Delivery Hero in its portfolio, is hiring an early‑stage investment team intern for autumn 2025, based in Munich. According to its listing, the role will involve deal support, portfolio work, market research, financials and presentation prep; applicants need to apply by August 5.
Firstminute Capital
HQ: London
Role(s): Founder’s associate
The seed-stage UK-based firm is looking for a new founder’s associate, Firstminute confirmed to Sifted. The fund has backed the likes of buzzy OpenAI challenger Mistral.
Keen Venture Partners
HQ: Amsterdam
Role(s): Finance manager
The Dutch VC, which is currently raising a new defence-focused fund, is searching for an Amsterdam-based finance manager. The job will entail working closely with the firm’s CFO and its new defence fund team on things like fund operation, capital calls and ESG compliance.
The European Investment Fund wrote its first defence fund cheque to Keen Venture Partners, adding €40m to its target €125m fund.
Earlybird
HQ: Berlin
Role(s): Associate of investor relations, vice president of IR and finance, senior fund controller
The firm, whose bets include digital bank N26, Isar Aerospace and AI company Aleph Alpha is hiring for a number of roles, including a new vice president of investor relations and finance. It’s also seeking an associate for investor relations and a senior fund controller.

Role(s): Analyst, growth team associates, visiting analyst
The Austrian early-stage VC firm is hiring for a number of roles right now — including an analyst for marketplaces and consumer based in Munich, as well as two London-based VC associates for its growth team. The firm is also hiring a visiting analyst for portfolio success in Munich.

HQ: Singapore and Europe
Role(s): Visiting investment analyst
The VC and company builder is looking for a visiting investment analyst based in Amsterdam.
Point Nine
HQ: Berlin
Role(s): Unspecified
The Berlin-based early-stage fund has backed the likes of Revolut and HR unicorn Factorial. Founding partner Pawel Chudzinski told Sifted the firm “will be hiring in the coming months and generally open for awesome candidates”, without specifying roles.

Episode 1 Ventures, which invests mostly in UK-based B2B startups including car marketplace Carwow and legaltech startup Robin AI, is looking for a London-based associate.
Station F

Role(s): Deal flow associate
The French startup campus and incubator backed by French billionaire founder Xavier Niel is hiring a deal flow associate. The candidate will work within the startups and partnerships team, which manages its in-house support programmes, and will work on things like entrepreneur sourcing.

Role(s): Investment analyst intern
The French VC firm, which has backed startups including spacetech The Exploration Company, is looking for an investment analyst intern for its Africa team.
Cherry Ventures

Role(s): Financial analyst intern (2026)
The early-stage firm, which counts transport company Flix, supply chain startup Tacto and The Exploration Company in its portfolio, is searching for a visiting financial analyst intern starting in January 2026 for six months.
Voyager Ventures
HQ: San Francisco, US
Role(s): Investor
The US-based firm, which backs climate startups focused on decarbonisation, is on the hunt for a Munich-based investor. The role will focus on working with founders building early-stage startups in deeptech and decarbonisation in Europe and North America. Voyager opened a London office late last year.
Slate VC
HQ: Paris
Role(s): Two associates
The firm, which invests in startups focused on the energy and environmental transition, is hiring two Paris-based associates to focus on its first early-growth climate fund. It’s backed companies including carbon fibre recycling startup Fairmat.
TX Ventures
HQ: Zurich
Role(s): Investment manager
Swiss VC firm TX Ventures, which invests in early-stage fintech startups, is looking to hire an investment manager. The firm backs fintech, proptech, digital assets and insurtech startups.
Big Sur Ventures

The Spanish VC backs early-stage deeptech and B2B startups, and is looking for a visiting analyst based in Madrid.
Cardumen Capital
