Legrand has acquired two companies to further its data center capabilities.

The company this week announced the acquisition of Amperio Project and Quitérios. Terms were not shared.

Amperio Project is a Swiss specialist in busbars. Based in Murten, the company employs around 20 people and has annual sales of more than €4 million ($4.7m).

Following Computer Room Solutions (CRS) in Australia in April and Malaysia’s Linkk Busway Systems last month, Amperio Project is Legrand’s third acquisition of the year focused on data centers.

Quitérios is a Portuguese player in electrical and digital modular distribution boards. Based in Mira, the company employs more than 100 people and has annual sales of nearly €20 million ($23m).

Benoît Coquart, Legrand CEO, said: “We are very pleased with these two new acquisitions, which bring the number of transactions announced since the beginning of the year to five, for a total annual revenue of more than €100 million ($117m). These investments are fully in line with our strategic roadmap for 2030, which includes strengthening our positions in fast-growing segments related to the energy and digital transition.”

Headquartered in Limoges, France, Legrand is a French industrial group. The company currently operates in 90 countries with its offerings including electrical equipment and digital building infrastructure.

The acquisition follows a busy 2024 and continues a busy 2025 for Legrand in the data center space. The company acquired five companies in the segment last year, including Canadian busbar company Power Bus Way, Netrack in India, Davenham in Ireland, Vass in Australia, and UPSistemas in Colombia.

Following the acquisition of CRS earlier this year, June 2025 saw the company acquire Linkk Busway Systems, an Asian specialist in power busbars, with a focus on data center grey space. Based in Malaysia, in Beranang, Selangor, the company employed more than 240 people and generated an annual revenue of around €45 million ($53m).
