Simon Russell launches as an independent agent in partnership with Nested

Nested has announced the appointment of Simon Russell, who has launched as an independent estate agent, covering Backwell and the wider North Somerset area.
Russell began his estate agency journey at Countrywide before progressing through senior roles at Andrews Property Group, Ocean, and most recently, Parkers Estate Agents.
A seasoned valuer and branch manager, he has consistently delivered results while maintaining a client-first, values-driven approach, according to Nested.
His background extends beyond estate agency. With a longstanding interest in property renovation and experience in the building industry, Russell brings an end-to-end understanding of the property journey, from the emotional highs of moving to the technical intricacies of improving a home.
Now based in Backwell, where he lives with his partner Alexandra (head of sales at Andrews Property Group) and their seven-year-old daughter, Russell has chosen to launch his own business in the area he knows.

CoStar Group Nnames Alexa-Maria Rathbone Barker as head of CoStar for Europe

CoStar Group has announced the appointment of Alexa-Maria Rathbone Barker as head of CoStar Europe. This leadership elevation comes as part of the company’s strategic growth plan across Europe.
In her expanded role, Barker will oversee CoStar’s operations in the UK. Her responsibilities will include deepening CoStar’s relationships with key players in the CRE space – especially among agencies – and helping clients grow through collaboration and partnerships.

OneDome appoints Mobeen Akram as head of new homes & partnerships
OneDome has announced the appointment of Mobeen Akram as head of new homes & partnerships.
Akram joins OneDome from Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB), where she held the position of new homes director.
In her new role, Akram will lead OneDome’s strategic partnerships with housebuilders across the UK.
