Vittorio Gargiulo (ceo), Federico Di Carlo (chairman and coo) and Federico Brunelli (cfo) founded the company in 2022 and received the acceleration support of B4i – Bocconi for innovation, Bonsai Ventures, Moonstone, Investinit, InSquared Holding, AFP Capital, Ventive, and Libero Raspa. The company will invest the raised proceeds in its proprietary technology, organic growth and international expansion. ReportAId, an AI-based medtech that Giuseppe Faraci, Claudio Caletti and Luca Foresti founded in 2024, attracted pre-seed resources of 2.2 million euros from Italian Founders Fund (lead investor), Heartfelt, Exceptional Ventures, 2100 Ventures, Vento, Ithaca, B Heroes, Vesper Holding, Luca Ascani, Enrico Giacomelli, Francesco Zaccariello, and Luca Foschini (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Simmons & Simmons and Bird & Bird acted as advisors. ReportAId will invest the raised proceeds in its organic growth. Irene Mingozzi is the chairwoman of Italian Founders Fund. Paolo Pio is the co-founder of Exceptional Ventures.
XBooks, an Italian fintech, raised 1.9 million euros from Enrico Giacomelli, Davide Coletto, Stéphane Klecha, Primo Capital, Vertis, Rigel Ventures, Avvio Capital, and Angels4Impact (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company previously attracted one million from Primo Ventures. Federico Pacilli founded XBooks in London and secured a pre-seed round of 0.425 million from SFC Capital and Nexum. The company will invest such proceeds for its expansion in Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Poland. Italian edtech Tutornow attracted one million euros from Mario Peveraro, Techstars, Invitalia – Smart&Start, KF-invest, and other business angels (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Francesco Pezcoller and Exit.ai acted as advisors. Riccardo Sciortino, Nicola De Carlo, Andrei Braila, and Luca Dei Rossi founded Tutornow in 2021. In 2023, the company joined to acceleration programme of Techstars. Tutornow will invest the raised proceeds in its organic growth, AI systems implementation and orgainc growth, Sciortino and De Carlo said
Pelomatto, a provider of pet grooming service at home, that received the support of Mamazen startup studio, attracted 0.6 million euros from IH1 (see here a previous post by BeBeez). In 2024, the company raised 0.43 million from Daniele Bruttini, Vincent Murphy and Antonella Sergio. William Selmo and Ferdinando Volpe founded Pelomatto in 2023. The company will invest the raised proceeds in its organic growth.
