LONDON, March 27, 2025: HVS London has today announced the expansion of its Asset Management division, further strengthening its position as a leader in hospitality consulting and reinforcing its commitment to providing comprehensive asset management and owners’ representative services to its clients.

The division will continue to provide a consultative and integrated approach to drive investment optimisation throughout the asset lifecycle. Chairman Russell Kett will provide strategic oversight to the division, which will be directed by Alex Mavridis and managed by Charles Carpentier.

Alex has successfully managed a variety of asset management mandates for our most valued clients. With more than 25 years’ experience managing more than €8 billion of hospitality property across five continents, he has successfully extracted value from assets through all phases of the asset lifecycle. Alex has had his own advisory business for the past six years and previously served in senior roles with Grand Hotel Group (Australian REIT), Istithmar Hotels (Dubai SWF), Sami Saad Holdings (Egyptian family group), and Deloitte UK.

Russell Kett, chairman of HVS London, stated: ‘Over the last few years, clients have been seeking more support in dealing with the myriad issues facing owners in these times, and the roles of asset manager and owners’ representative have never been more important than they are today. Owners are looking for strong leadership and expert guidance, which HVS is well-equipped to provide, thereby making a lasting impact. Alex’s wealth of experience and knowledge and Charles’s proven track record make them the ideal pair to lead this initiative.’

Alex Mavridis, Head of Asset Management, HVS London said: ‘Charles and I are hugely excited to have been entrusted with the challenge of growing HVS’s asset management business during this period of unprecedented geopolitical and operational challenges. HVS serves an excellent client base and we look forward to strengthening the firm’s offering and assisting our clients in delivering exceptional returns.’
