Knight Frank has announced its sponsorship of Team GB swimmer and three times Olympic gold medallist James Guy.
Guy, renowned for his remarkable achievements in the pool, has secured six Olympic medals, including gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Beyond his swimming career, Guy has demonstrated a keen interest in property, having worked in two Knight Frank offices.
Guy stated: “Being an athlete is about commitment and working at the highest level. In property, you have to do the same, especially when the market or the situation changes.”
He further expressed his ambition to transition into the property sector post-retirement, aiming to leverage his competitive mindset to achieve outstanding results for clients.
Knight Frank’s Head of Residential, Tim Hyatt, commented: “We are delighted to support James as he continues his remarkable swimming career and explores opportunities within the property industry.
“His dedication, discipline, and drive align perfectly with our firm’s values. This partnership underscores Knight Frank’s commitment to supporting exceptional talent and fostering excellence both in sports and the property industry.”
This sponsorship is part of Knight Frank’s broader initiative to support athletes and sports professionals. The firm’s specialist Sports Desk, established in 2018, provides expert property advice tailored to the unique needs of sportspeople, assisting them with rentals, purchases, and investment opportunities.
Hyatt added: “As James prepares for upcoming competitions, Knight Frank looks forward to supporting him both in his athletic endeavours and future career aspirations within the property sector.”
