The vehicle is part of the G-Series suite of open fund with a focus on alternative assets and grants access to different private equity strategies

G-PE is part of G-Series suite for open funds that focus on private markets. Such products allow global qualified investors to allocate resources in private equity, infrastructures, real estate and private credit. This launch is consistent with GS strategy for expanding the access to its 500 billion US Dollars alternative asset platform.
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management and selected third-parties distributors grant access to such investments with tickets of at least 5 million. Bloomberg reported that in 2025 Goldman Sachs aims to increase by up to 8 billion (5 billion in 2024) the volume of alternative investments that external firm can sell.
Kristin Olson, Goldman Sachs Global Head of Alternatives for Wealth, said: “An increasing amount of companies choose to delay a listing, and a larger share of economic growth takes place in private markets, investors will have to look beyond the stock exchanges. We believe that investing in private markets can help our clients with the right risk profile to build a more diversified portfolio, and we look forward to leveraging product innovations to expand access and opportunities for them.”
