Malmö-based Re:meat® has raised €1 million in an oversubscribed funding round, backed by impact investor 8+ Ventures, alongside tech investors, family offices, and business angels, including Kristofer Forss (Bastard Burgers), Judith Wolst (SusTechable), Erik Rosengren and Jon Persson (co-founders of Söderberg & Partners), and Skåne Ventures. The company develops modular, cost-efficient cultivated meat technology designed for integration into food production. The funding will support the establishment of Scandinavia’s first “Re:meatery,” a facility for cultivated meat production. Re:meat is also a recipient of a Vinnova grant aimed at accelerating deep tech innovation.
