Oslo-based Installer has secured a €3.8 million seed round led by Brighteye Ventures, with participation from PT1, Futurum Capital, and Sondo Capital. The company develops a data-driven platform that connects businesses with trained installers for EV chargers, solar panels, and heat pumps. The goal is to simplify the installation process, reduce costs, and address labor shortages in the sector. With existing partnerships in 21 markets, including Easee, Sungrow, Coop, and Tibber, the funding will support expansion across Europe and preparations for entry into the U.S. market within the next 12 to 18 months.
Founded in 2022 by Kristoffer Gjerde, Thomas Kristiansen, and Gunnar Windsand Sem, Installer builds a data-driven platform to make the installation and maintenance of renewable energy technologies more efficient. The platform uses AI and automation to connect businesses with skilled installers, streamlining job dispatch, training, and operations to lower costs and reduce delays. With partnerships across 21 markets, including major industry players like Easee, Sungrow, Coop, and Tibber, Installer aims to address labor shortages and installation bottlenecks in the renewable sector. The company is expanding its presence in Europe and preparing for entry into the U.S. market.
