The firm which has alternative assets under management worth 400 billion US Dollars is now part of the B2B private markets platform with Apollo, Blackstone, Carlyle, Franklin Templeton e Morgan Stanley IM, Blackstone, and KKR
JP Morgan Asset Management joined Allfunds Private Partners (APP) of Allfunds, a B2B WealthTech platform for investment products (press release)
APP is born in July 2023 (see here a previous post by BeBeez) with the aim of providing a marketplace and a distribution network with better access to private markets to clients and funds. In 2023, Allfunds launched Allfunds Alternative Solutions for allowing distributor to handle more easily the alternative funds. Apollo, Blackstone, Carlyle, Franklin Templeton, and Morgan Stanley Investment Management have been early joiners while Blackrock and KKR followed later. Allfunds aimed to meed the growing demand for private assets of global financial products distribution networks (BeBeez Magazine n. 9 24 June and a previous post by BeBeez).

JP Morgan Asset Management will start selling JPMorgan ELTIFs – Multi-Alternatives Fund on APP. This semi-liquid structure fund is availbale in 24 countries (including Italy) and invests in real assets, private credit, private equity, real estate and listed alternative assets.

JP Morgan Asset Management’s current investments in alternative assets amounts to 400 billion US Dollars. The firm’s Infrastructure Investment Fund owns a controlling stake of Renantis (fka Falck Renewables), a company which develops, designs, builds and operates plants for the production of energy from renewable sources, and which merged in January 2024 with UK’s Ventient Energy, another portfolio asset (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Lynstone Special Situations Fund II, another vehicle of JP Morgan Asset Management, is the main shareholder of chocolate producer Pernigotti- Walcor (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
