Ydun, an AI-based provider of tailored fitness plans, closed an above 4 million euros pre-seed round that Swiss Limestone Capital led (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company will invest such resources in opening its Milan centre by April. Christian Blomberg is the ceo and founder of Ydun. Grazi Angelucci Paineli acts as M&A director for Limestone Capital.
Genoa Instruments, a developer of super-resolution optical microscopy tools, attracted one million euros from Deep Ocean Capital’s vehicle Deep Blue Ventures (DBV) and other local investors (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Simonluca Piazza is the ceo and founder of Genoa Instruments. The company will invest such resources in the further development of PRISM – Photon-Resolved Image Scanning Microscope. Estyl, an Italian developer of an AI-based fashion e-commerce app, raised a 0.5 million euros in debt from Unicredit and 0.1 million in equity from Oblivion (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Alessandro Monego, Victor Mita, Matteo Blini, and Marco Blini founded the company in 2024 with the strategic support of Studio Associato Crovella-Blini. Estyl will invest such resource in launching its MVP (Minimum Viable Product) by the end of 2Q24.
Contents.com (fka Entire Digital Publishing), an AI-based content generator for corporates, said it attracted the resources of French club deal platform Side Angels, a platform born in 2016 that Renaud Guillerm heads (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Massimiliano Squillace, the ceo of Contents.com, said that he will invest such resources in expanding the business in the French market.
Selvatiq, a company that seeks vegetables for drinks that Charles Lanthier, Valeria Mosca and Stefano Tosoni founded, attracted the investment of and Francesco Micheli that acquired a 6.18% stake (see here a previous post by BeBeez). In 2021, P101 (6.37% owner) and Italian spirits company Branca International invested in the company whose main shareholders are Giacomo Sandri (28.10%), Gianluca Gargano and Marco Magnocavallo.
Alessandro Benetton said that London’s 2100 Ventures, a vehicle of which he is anchor investor since 2022, attracted the resources of 21 Invest and Edizione (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Andrea Casasco, Andrea Gennarini and Andrea Gurnari founded 2100 Ventures and closed a 30 million euros fundraising. JetHr, Autone, BonusX, and Ephos attracted the resources of the fund whose limited partners list includes Luca Ascani, Stefano Bernardi and Raffaele Terrone. Milan and London- based 2100 Ventures already invested in 25 international startups in their early-stage (Pre-seed and Seed) operating in the sectors of Software as a Service (SaaS), artificial intelligence, fintech, data, and ClimateTech.
