From youngest to oldest
At just 15 years old, designer Luis Dobbelgarten launched No/Faith Studios in 2016 with a screen printer, a few T-shirts, and a sewing machine. Today, the brand is a global fashion label specialising in denim and leatherwear, stocked by retailers like SSENSE and H. Lorenzo. The company achieved over €3.5 million in sales in 2023, more than doubling its revenue from the previous year.
At 17, Vladimir Danila founded Linearity in 2017, originally known as Vectornator, to simplify graphic design. Frustrated with tools like Adobe Illustrator, he developed a mobile-first app that quickly gained traction, gaining €38.7k in sales with no marketing. Backed by €33.9 million in funding, Linearity now competes with Figma and boasts 7 million users, including staff from Apple, Disney, and Microsoft.
At 18 years old, Daniele Servadei founded Sellix in 2021 while still a student, creating a digital ecommerce platform designed to simplify selling online. Sellix enables entrepreneurs to accept payments and sell digital goods without any coding, making it a go-to solution for startups aiming to scale quickly. In just a few years, the platform has processed over €90 million in transactions and boasts a customer base of 2.3 million users. Alejandro Benlloch and Bruno Casanovas
At age 19, Alejandro Benlloch and Bruno Casanovas started Nude Project in 2019 from their dorm rooms in Barcelona, dropping out of school when their streetwear brand took off. Generating nearly €29 million in revenue in 2023, the company employs 130 people, operates seven stores across Southern Europe, and sells online to 200 countries. They aim to expand the brand’s reach through podcasts, events, and even beverages.
Mohammad Filfil launched Paragit Neurotech in 2018 at the age of 19 to aid patients with neurological disorders. The company’s flagship product, the Paragit Sleeve, uses AI to analyze Parkinson’s patients’ movement patterns and share insights with healthcare providers. Filfil has raised €2.1 million and aims to secure regulatory clearance for the device in 2024.
Bellabeat was co-founded by Urska Srsen when she was 20 years old in 2013. Bellabeat designs and creates wearable technology that help women to easily track their overall health and wellness.
At 21, Hannah Chappatte founded Hybr in 2019 to address the challenges faced by first-time renters in the UK. The platform has helped 25,000 students find housing and generated €18.4 million in GMV for clients. Backed by €4.8 million in funding, including a €4 million seed round, Hybr is transforming the student rental experience.
Walerud co-founded Volumental in December 2012 when she was 21. Starting from Ph.D research in robotics and computer vision at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Swedish Volumental is disrupting shoe shopping using computer vision and artificial intelligence. Their technology is being used by the world’s best brands and retailers in the footwear industries to personalize the shopping experience and provide great fitting footwear. An offshoot business, My Very Own, has also adapted its technology for the eyewear market.
In 2019, at ages 21 and 23, Cian Donovan and Robbie Scott founded Akara Robotics to address hospital staff shortages through automation. Their disinfection robot cleans rooms up to 20 times faster than human staff and is now deployed in six hospitals globally.
Weronika Czaplewska and Mateusz Masiak
In 2020, Weronika Czaplewska and Mateusz Masiak, aged 22 and 21, founded Envirly, a platform for tracking and managing carbon emissions. Operating on a B2B SaaS model, the startup has raised €1.9 million and generates revenue through subscriptions for its sustainability-focused services.
Raphael Peralta and Thelma Zablocki
At age 22, Raphael Peralta and Thelma Zablocki founded CardiaTec Biosciences in 2021 to innovate in cardiovascular drug discovery. Backed by €1.8 million in funding, the UK-based startup uses AI and a vast dataset of human heart tissue to advance medicine development.
At 23, Pedro Braz launched HelpMeChoose in 2021 to simplify financial product selection. The bootstrapped platform, known for “investingintheweb,” has attracted over 1 million users by comparing investment platforms and earns revenue from partnerships with companies like Revolut and eToro.
Arnaud Delubac founded Greenly in 2019 at age 23 to help companies reduce carbon emissions. With €72.6 million in funding and nearly 2,000 clients, including LVMH and TripAdvisor, the Paris-based startup generated €9.6 million in revenue in 2023 and aims to double it this year. Greenly’s technology and climate experts guide businesses toward net-zero goals.
In 2019, at age 24, Hendrik Kramer launched Fernride to address driver shortages with remote-controlled electric trucks. The startup has raised €57.1 million and works with clients like Volkswagen and DB Schenker. Using human teleoperators, Fernride’s approach boosts logistics efficiency while reducing emissions.
Sioned Jones and Tara O’Driscoll UK
At 24, Sioned Jones and Tara O’Driscoll founded Boobybiome in 2019 to support infant immune health. Their breast milk-based formula supplement aims to address autoimmune issues linked to inadequate breastfeeding and improve long-term health outcomes.
