Oulu-based startup Louhe Oy has secured €3 million in a round led by Lifeline Ventures with the participation of previous investors and tech veterans. The company gathers essential data sources from campuses and buildings to create intelligent situational awareness utilizing machine learning and Explainable AI. The recent funding round will enhance their services and feed their mission to explore new markets.
Founded in 2020, Louhe Oy is revolutionising cyber-physical security with the help of advanced data analysis and explainable artificial intelligence. The company’s customer base includes, among others, Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yleisradio), The Social Insurance Institution (Kansaneläkelaitos) and Finavia. Company’s international network of partners includes, for example, Securitas Technologies and Forus, which operates in the Baltic region.
