Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised HDT Automotive Solutions (HDT) on the acquisition of the business operations of German automotive supplier Veritas AG (Veritas), its business in Hungary and its subsidiaries in Mexico, Bosnia and Austria.
US-headquartered HDT designs, develops and manufactures innovative thermal management systems for the automotive industry. With the Veritas acquisition, HDT is significantly upscaling its business with a total of five additional locations and gains additional production capacities in low-cost regions.
Veritas is a global automotive supplier with expertise in elastomers, plastics and metal for fluid, thermal and seal management systems. The combined HDT Veritas company today employs more than 5,000 people across 15 locations in North America, Europe and Asia and is a leading supplier to the world’s top original equipment manufacturers.
