FlamAid, an innovative company dedicated to enhancing personal safety through advanced technological solutions, announced the successful closing of its first funding round, totaling €250k. This investment round, led by prominent angel investors and venture capital funds such as Ona Capital, marks a significant milestone in FlamAid’s mission to provide greater peace of mind and protection for individuals.
FlamAid’s “peaceful grenade” is not just a security tool but a statement of the company’s mission: “You will get home.” The device features a powerful personal alarm and direct connection to support networks and emergency services, ensuring that users feel safe at all times.
Julieta Rueff, Founder and CEO, explained that the investment will be used to consolidate the company’s market presence and continue developing technologies that not only protect but also empower individuals.
Ruefff added: “I am very proud of what we are building at FlamAid. Above all, we are immensely thankful to our hardworking team and supporting investors. This is the beggining of a new protection era, where people are free of fear and free to be themselves.”
Founded in 2022, FlamAid is committed to becoming a leader in the personal safety sector by providing effective and accessible tools for everyone.
Guillem Crosas, one of FlamAid’s business angels, commented:“As a business angel, you always try to find the best projects to invest, and in my 10 years of experience, I have never found a project as impressive as Flamaid. First, for its founder, Julieta, an impressive woman that has a vision and I have no doubts she will succeed in it. Second, for the values and goals of the company, having the best possible goal a company can have. And finally, for the team surrounding Julieta that adds experience and even more value to the company. I have invested in lots of startups but honestly no other investment was as easy to decide than Flamaid, its an honor to be part of it.”
