Eligibility
The loans offered by Almi are specifically aimed at companies in all industries with a maximum of 250 employees.
The primary requirement is that the borrower is unable to obtain the necessary financing from other sources, such as banks, and requires additional funding.
To avoid competing with banks and to account for the higher risk, Almi charges interest rates that are higher than the average bank interest rates.
These loans are also available to foreign citizens who run companies registered in Sweden, provided they have a residence permit, are EU/EEA citizens with a right of residence, or are Nordic citizens.
