N-ink, a Norrköping-based tech company founded in 2020, recently won Voima Ventures‘ science challenge, earning a €1 million investment. N-ink specializes in advanced conductive polymers to improve battery and solar cell performance for future electrification solutions. The victory highlights N-ink’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. Voima Ventures, an early-stage investor, is excited to support N-ink, emphasizing the strong scientific foundation in the Nordic region. The science challenge aimed to boost science-based innovations, with eight teams competing in the final round. Voima Ventures, founded in 2019, focuses on nurturing science-based startups in the Nordic and Baltic regions, recently announcing a €90 million fund to continue supporting such ventures.
N-ink provides high-performing, scalable conductive polymers that boost battery and solar cell performance to provide solutions for the electrification of the future. The company was founded in 2020 by scientists at the Laboratory of Organic Electronics, Linköping University in Sweden.

Voima Ventures launched a science challenge for pre-seed and seed-stage science-based startups in the Nordic and Baltic regions to accelerate science-based innovations across these areas. With the challenge Voima Ventures aimed to encourage startups to transform their ideas into thriving global businesses and help them scale solutions from laboratories into global companies.
Out of one hundred applications, eight teams were selected to compete in a final round before a jury of top-tier investors and industry experts. These included Paebbl‘s Co-founder and co-CEO Marta Sjögren, Principal at Angelini Ventures Nils Bottler, Silo.AI’s Co-founder and Chairman Tero Ojanperä, and Algorithmiqm‘s Co-founder and CEO, Professor Sabrina Maniscalco.
