On May 9-10, 2024, we’ll be hosting the 10th edition of our annual EU-Startups Summit! With the vibrant country of Malta as our new location, this edition will be bigger and better than ever before, gathering over 2,000 founders, startup enthusiasts, and investors for two exciting days of networking, inspiration, and learning.
Aside from a buzzing exhibition hall, a dedicated networking app and networking areas, we’ll also have two stages where you’ll be able to learn from over 70 speakers and listen to educational and inspiring talks by internationally successful founders.
Joining our stellar speaker line-up next year is the refurbed founder Kilian Kaminski, who will join us for a keynote about refurbed’s growth journey and how it’s enabled by a purpose-driven company culture.
Kilian Kaminski is one of the three founders of refurbed, the fastest-growing online marketplaces for refurbished products in Europe. Due to its international expansion, the startup is now already operating in several European countries. refurbed is headquartered in Vienna and was founded in 2017. The fast-growing startup was already able to raise more than €120 million in funding. In fact, they closed a €54 million Series C funding round earlier this month.
Before founding refurbed, Kilian Kaminski was Head of the Amazon Certified Refurbished Program and Key Account Manager for the largest electronics retailers at Amazon Germany. He studied communications and business administration in Hamburg, Shanghai, and London. In 2019, he was selected to the Forbes “30 under 30 Europe” list together with co-founder Peter Windischhofer. In 2020, Kilian Kaminski was also awarded with “Capital Top 40 under 40”. Furthermore, Kilian Kaminski is a member of a consortium of experts on the European Union’s circular economy.
Kaminski is certainly an exceptional entrepreneur and we’re very excited to hear his insights! He will join us for a keynote on our main stage to share his insights from the refurbed growth journey.
