Orquesta, claiming to be the first European all-in-one LLM Operations and Integration platform, has secured €800,000 in pre-seed funding, exceeding the company’s initial target.
The Amsterdam-based startup has pioneered Europe’s first platform for integrating diverse Large Language Models (LLMs) since its founding in 2022.
The company manages prompt engineering and configuration as it prepares to develop and launch its platform officially in November 2023.
The platform is set to be accessible for SaaS companies all across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Orquesta is a no-code platform that makes programming unnecessary, promoting collaboration and efficiency within software teams. It saves engineers time, allows product management to maintain a clear overview, and enables internal domain experts to easily verify interaction accuracy.
The platform simplifies interactions, data collection, and experimentation with a user-friendly dashboard. It collects feedback from end-users, domain experts, and other AI models.
Orquesta claims to currently be the first European company to offer such a solution.
Orquesta’s funding success
Orquesta announced its successful pre-seed funding will be channelled into platform development, its forthcoming launch, and European market expansion.
The round was spearheaded by Curiosity VC, with Spacetime, the investment office of Adriaan Mol, serving as co-lead, with further participation including Golden Egg Check Capital, Magnetic Fund, and other investors such as Koen Köppen (Mollie), Milan Daniels and Max Klijnstra (Otrium), and Arjé Cahn (Bloomreach).
Sohrab Hosseini and his partner Anthony Diaz founded Orquesta, which provides SaaS companies with a unified gateway for direct integration of various LLM models, including those from OpenAI, Azure, Google, Hugging Face, and Cohere.
“The accelerated development of new AI functionalities leads to increased fragmentation, complexity and a need for speed within the technology landscape for our clients,” Sohrab Hosseini, co-founder of Orquesta, says. “This prevents the already scarce talent of our clients from focusing on strategic work and growth.”
“With one LLM gateway, including all the necessary tooling, Orquesta is their partner to remain competitive,” Hosseini adds. “We are very excited about the focus and multidisciplinary experience of the various VCs and Angels who match and support our level of ambition.”
“Orquesta has built a best-in-class no-code platform that allows engineers to focus on their proprietary product and shorten release cycles instead of managing LLM integrations, configurations, and rules”, says Adriaan Mol, founder of Dutch unicorns Mollie and Messagebird, and his investment vehicle Spacetime.
Herman Kienhuis, managing partner of Curiosity VC: “With Orquesta, Sohrab and Anthony have developed a no-code platform that allows companies to easily configure, test, and manage complex prompts and various LLMs, leading the way in the market to assist companies in the application of these new Generative AI technologies.”
