Anastasia Kovaleva, investment director at Pollen Street, says, .
“Our investment and value creation strategy will build on Assessio’s reputation as the Nordic’s leading talent assessment software platform to build a leading pan-European talent management player in an exciting and growing market solving current challenges such as talent shortages and supporting diversity and inclusion.”

Pivotal shift
Main Capital Partners acquired Assessio in 2019 and ignited a pivotal growth phase. The shift saw Assessio pivot from a consultancy-driven model to a scalable software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, fostering revenue growth and establishing its dominance in the Nordic and Benelux regions.
Throughout its trajectory under Main’s guidance, Assessio strategically acquired Dutch HFMTalentindex, Dutch Eelloo, and Danish People Test Systems.
These acquisitions not only bolstered Assessio’s market presence but also laid the groundwork for its stronghold in previously untapped Nordic markets and the Benelux region. This multi-faceted approach facilitated a broader service offering and unlocked new reservoirs of talent and expertise.
Pollen Street’s acquisition of Assessio underscores the latter’s substantial value in the talent assessment. With Pollen Street’s track record in scaling software enterprises, the partnership promises to fuel Assessio’s global expansion and propel its technological advancements.
This juncture comes at a pivotal time for Assessio, as it aims to tackle evolving challenges in talent management, including scarcity and diversity concerns. Assessio is poised to magnify its industry impact by harnessing Pollen Street’s expertise.
