Helsinki-based Eficode, a DevOps, software, automation, and design company, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Avoset, a Finnish startup that specialises in Atlassian tools and services.
Eficode says the deal will strengthen the company’s position as an Atlassian partner in Finland, expanding its expertise in Atlassian Cloud services and the public sector.
Ilari Nurmi, CEO of Eficode, says, “Atlassian tools and the related know-how are essential as all companies are becoming software businesses. Avoset has broad expertise in Atlassian tools and cloud migrations. Their specialist skills and services complete our mission to build the future of software development. We welcome Avoset’s employees and customers to Eficode.”
Atlassian Platinum solution partner
Founded in 2010, Avoset is an Atlassian Platinum partner with expertise in Atlassian Cloud services. The firm offers support, consulting, and licence management for Atlassian tools.
Atlassian offers software solutions that enable teams to optimise their work processes. Their products like Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Trello, Bitbucket, and Jira Align support agile, DevOps, IT service management, and work management needs.
Atlassian’s broad user base of over 260,000 companies illustrates its ability to facilitate efficient collaboration among teams, leading to the timely attainment of high-quality outcomes.
With a focus on the public sector, Avoset boasts strong customer relationships and high satisfaction among over 250 clients.
Avoset’s 20 employees and 2022 revenue of €9.7M contribute to its valuable market presence.
Aim of this acquisition
Tuomas Saranen, CEO of Avoset, says, “In recent years, we have significantly developed our skillset and have grown rapidly. Joining Eficode will be beneficial for both our people and customers. In the future, our clients can develop their Agile, DevOps, and ITSM practices with Eficode’s unique skills and services, while our team of professionals can offer their know-how to more customers in more countries.”
The acquisition empowers Eficode to provide its customers with Eficode ROOT and Total Support services, expanding its complete range of digital service offerings.
This move positions Eficode as the largest Atlassian partner in Finland and one of the largest globally, solidifying its prominent role in the Atlassian ecosystem.
Ko Mistry, Atlassian’s Head of Global Channel, says, “This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Eficode’s strategy. By bringing together a more diverse range of Atlassian expertise under one roof, Eficode can now offer even more value to customers and help them unlock the full potential of teamwork.”
