In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, financial performance is no longer the sole determinant of success.
Workforce quality and the work environment play a crucial role in accomplishing long-term business objectives.
Establishing a positive work environment is of utmost importance as it directly impacts employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention.
As a result, numerous organisations are actively prioritising the development of a workplace culture that nurtures employee happiness and well-being.
To acknowledge and highlight companies that excel at providing exceptional work environments, several dedicated platforms strive to identify and honour outstanding workplaces worldwide.
These platforms use various metrics and surveys to evaluate companies based on factors such as employee satisfaction, benefits, and workplace culture.
One such platform is “Great Place to Work.”
Great Place to Work
Over 30 years ago, Robert Levering established Great Place to Work, intending to answer the question, “What makes an organisation a good employer?”
Since then, Great Place To Work has been assisting organisations in enhancing trust in the workplace, which is the cornerstone of a flourishing organisation.
Through the Trust Index employee survey, Great Place To Work provides valuable insights into employees’ perceptions, collaborative work practices, and leadership within an organisation.
Based on these insights, Great Place To Work offers recommendations for improvement to establish a robust and trustworthy workplace culture.
The organisation works with companies, non-profit organisations, and government agencies in 60 countries on all continents. Every year, 10,000 organisations worldwide participate in this survey, representing approximately 12 million employees.
