Italian alternative asset manager Green Arrow Capital sgr announced the final closing of its third private equity fund (previously managed by Quadrivio Capital sgr, the asset manager that Green Arrow Capital bought last May) with 230.6 million euros committements (download here the press release). The fund had announced its secondo closing at 200 million euros in August 2017 (see here a previous post by BeBeez).
A good 90%of subscribers are institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance companies and funds of funds, while the remaining investors are represented by Green Arrow’s management team, other asset managers and High Net Worth Individuals.
The fund has been active since 2016 and has made three direct investments and two add-ons. The private equity management team is led by Nicola Pietralunga and includes Francesca Gennaro, Roberto Giudici  and Luca Chiabrera. The team has been working together since 2010 as they divested fund 1’s portfolio and invested and divested fund 2’s portfolio.
The secondo fund was raised in 2010 with 150 million euros of committements and finalized its divestments this year after selling Sebeto (Rossopomodoro) and Forno D’Asolo realizing a net 16% Irr for investors  or 2.3x the invested capital in 8 years.
