A new French operator has launched its first data center in Paris.
First announced by DCMag, Nervalis DataCenter has launched a new facility in Paris.
Located in the Wissous area within Île-de-France, PAR1 offers 150 racks and 1.25MW across 1,000 sqm (10,764 sq ft).
The company lists the data center at 18 Rue des Pyrénées, a multi-story office property known as the Nagoya building, located within the Paris Orly-Rungis business park close to Paris-Orly airport.
Posts shared by the company on LinkedIn suggest the firm acquired a legacy data center and has relaunched the facility after a refresh.
Nervalis’ website lists plans for a second facility in Paris, but few details have been shared.
Paris is one of Europe’s major data center markets. Data Center Map lists some 120 facilities from 40 operators in the region.
Operators around the French capital include Etix, nLighten, Digital Realty, Equinix, Vantage, Iliad’s OpCore, Penta Infra, Telehouse, Data4, Colt, Templus, Global Switch, CyrusOne, and numerous others.
France is in the midst of a major AI data center build-out, which was covered in-depth in issue 57 of DCD>Magazine.
