AMCO, the NPEs investor that Andrea Munari heads and that belongs the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, signed an agreement for selling to Bayview Asset Management a portfolio of reperforming residential mortgages with a 600 million euros face value (see here a previous post by BeBeez). A joint venture of AMCO (51%) and Bayview (49%) will handle the loans that Bayview Italia 106 will manage. AMCO retained Alantra and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. Bayview hired Gianni & Origoni.
