Sunprime Holdings, an Italian renewable energy company that belongs to Noy Fund and Israeli’s Nofar Energy, received a project finance facility of 507 million euros from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Sunprime will invest such proceeds in Sophocles, a portfolio of Italian plants projects. InvestEU will provide a warranty for the financing. ValeCap, Ashurst, Praxi, Aon, and Kpmg assisted Sunprime.
Retelit’s Retelit Datacenter, a portfolio company of Asterion Industrial Partners and Marguerite, attracted a 175 million euros facility from Infranity, part of Generali Investments, and 200 million from other lenders (see here a previous post by BeBeez).The company will invest such proceeds in upgrading its datacentres. Marie Dowlatyari is an investment director of Infranity, a firm that Philippe Benaroya, Alban de La Selle and Gilles Lengaigne founded and has 13.2 billion of assets under management. Caronte & Tourist, a shipping company of Basalt Infrastructure (30%), the Matacena (37.5%) and Franza (32.5%) families, borrowed 40 million euros from an undisclosed pool of banks (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Milan-listed Banca Ifis launched a three-years Euro-Commercial Paper Programme (ECP Programme) worth up to one billion euros that may also issue notes in US Dollars (see here a previous post by BeBeez). BonelliErede advised the bank whose ECP received a P-3 rating from Moody’s and a STEP Label for the compliance with the Market Convention on Short-Term European Paper (STEP). Professional investors may subscribe notes with a face value of at least 0.1 million with a12 months maturity. Clifford Chance advised Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Equita sim, Banco Santander, and Banca Akros that acted as dealer and arrangers.
