BeBeez Trading Floor roundup with eToro support about the performances of private capital firms listed on global exchanges.

Geopolitical tensions in Iran and the Persian Gulf area increased the stock markets’ volatility that fear tensions on oil, gas and commodity prices which may boost inflation and interest rates. Expectations of a tightening monetary policy impacted the exchanges of those countries who depend more on oil import.

Some of the groups that the AI syndrome penalized in recent weeks benefited from a technical rebound and fundamental factors.

Rising interest rates are good news for private credit securities, especially if the trend does not point to an economic downturn that could affect the quality of the credit portfolio. Analysts’ reports boosted the market capitalization of Bruxelles-listed New Mountain Finance Corporation (+4.6%) whose P/E Ratio is little above 5.

Joseph Bae and Scott Nuttall, the co-ceos of NYSE-listed KKR (+4.2%), and other executives of the firm carried on insider buying trades worth 46 million US Dollars. Furthermore, market rumours say that the fund is mulling for a more than 3 billion sale of CoolIT, a provider of cooling systems for data centres. The firm and Capital Group are also going to launch Capital Group KKR U.S. Equity+ for retail investors. Such product could increase the management fees flow.

NYSE-listed Apollo Global Management (+3.9%) benefited from a technical rebound after press reports, mainly from CNN, speculated about the involvement of ceo Marc Rowan with the criminal activities of Jeffrey Epstein in early 2010s.

Milan-listed Italmobiliare (-12.6%), the investment holding of the  Pesenti Family, said that 2025 Ebitda dropped by 10% while net profits are down 38% even though the turnover is up 10% (press release). Market participants interpreted such signals as the firm companies’ limited ability to pass on to final prices the increase in raw material costs.
