CDP Real Asset and QC Spa of Wonders – QC Terme (a portfolio company of White Bridge Investments) concluded the 44 million euros worth requalification of Italian spa Thermae Berzieri di Salsomaggiore Terme (Parma area) that started in 2023 (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Andrea Montanino, Chief Economist of CDP, said that the requalification already generated a 90 million euros turnover for the production chain and employed 600 persons while the hedonic benefit amounts to 64 million. Antonio Turicchi is the ceo of CDP Real Asset. Francesco Varni is the QC Spa of Wonders ceo and head of corporate activities and development. QC Terme belongs to Giuturna Investments (49.21% – White Bridge Investments has 22.9% of the vehicle), Andrea Quadrio Curzio (25.38%), Saverio Quadrio Curzio (25.38%), and Francesco Varni (0.04%). DeA Capital Real Estate signed a joint venture with Harbert Management Corporation (HMC) and acquired a French portfolio of business parks in forward funding with a total surface of 73000 sqms from Axtom’s subsidiary Axdev (see here a previous post by BeBeez). GSE, Kleidi, Lockroy, and Axess are the general contractors in charge of the parks’ development. Lasaygues, DLA, Enoma, Etyo, Agence France, and Apside assisted the buyers. Florent Danset is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of European Real Estate of Harbert Management Corporation while Eric Desautel is a firm’s Principal and Head of France. Pierre Julin is DeA Capital Real Estate’s Managing Director France while and Emanuele Dubini is the Global CIO. Clément Van Tornhout is a founding partner of Axtom.
Colussi Ermes, a producer of industrial machinery for the food industry that belongs to Middleby, attracted a 20 million euros financing facility from Intesa Sanpaolo, a bank that Carlo Messina heads (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Colussi will invest such proceeds in R&D and the development of 7500 sqms facility Centro di Innovazione Middleby in Pordenone area. Cristina Cipiccia is Intesa’s manager for Veneto Est and Friuli Venezia Giulia. Andrea Colussi is the ceo of Colussi Ermes.
The Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) vehicle that Ardian and Rockfield launched in 2024 with the support of CBRE Investment Management’s Indirect Private Real Estate Strategies platform signed a preliminary agreement for acquiring an asset in Milan’s Viale Certosa from Keystone Investments and Mediterranea Immobiliare (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Studio Inzaghi, Yard Reaas, PedersoliGattai, and Joivy assisted the buyers that aim to achieve the LEED Gold certification for the asset. Mediterranea Immobiliare and Keystone Investments retained Advant NCTM, Vitale&Co. and Nasini Architetti. Luca Migliaccio is the managing director of Ardian. Mats Bartels is the investment director Northern Europe of Rockfield.
Sources said to BeBeez that RoundShield, an European platform for private credit and special situations of Harrison Street Asset Management, acquired from the Roncoroni Family an undisclosed vendor a 40 hectares in Menaggio, Como Lake, for the development of Corinthia Lake Como, a luxury asset that Corinthia Hotels will manage (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Marco Polenta (chairman) and Giulio Bentivoglio (ceo) are the founders of Kervis which will handle the requalification and for which Federico Romito acts as head of Acquisitions.
