Chris Jeanes joins White & Case as a partner in London

Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Investment Funds Practice and Global Private Capital Industry Group with the addition of Chris Jeanes as a funds partner in London.

“We have accelerating demand for funds advice, from both private capital sponsors and sovereign clients, and investment in this area is a strategic priority,” said White & Case Chair, Heather McDevitt. “Chris’ expertise supports our funds capability in EMEA as well as the US and Asia-Pacific, adding greater strength to our full-service private capital team, globally.”

Chris advises private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds and other investors on a variety of fund raisings and secondary transactions, including GP-led continuation vehicles and the acquisition and sale of large portfolios of fund interests. He joins White & Case from Akin Gump, where he was counsel, and brings more than ten years of experience.

The Firm has also added senior lateral partners in its fund finance practice, including Emma Russell in London and Dylan Glazier in New York (both from Haynes Boone).
