Canada’s Morphocell Technologies, a biotech that Massimo Paganelli (ceo) and Claudia Raggi (chief scientific officer) expanded by a further 10 million US Dollars its 2024 Series A round and attracted the resources of CDP Venture Capital and Investissement Québec (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The round was initially worth 40 million and Genson Capital acted as lead investor. The company will invest such proceeds in its core business and opening an Italian bureau. Bicha Ngo is the chairman and ceo of Investissement Québec. Alessandro Scortecci is the chief Direct Investments of CDP Venture Capital. Christine Fréchette is the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy of the Province of Quebec. London-based AI Venture Builder raised 2.5 million GBPs through an equity crowdfunding campaign on Republic Europe with the advisory support of Over Ventures (see here a previous post by BeBeez). AI Venture Builder raised a total of 4 million since Matteo Testi (ceo) and Marco Tognoni (cfo) founded it in 2024 and attracted little below 0.681 million through CrowdFundMe and 0.461 million on Crowdcube.
