The European Commission is pleased to announce the AI Policy Day: Scaling AI in Europe, an event for policymakers, researchers, startups and AI innovation leaders to discuss the opportunities and challenges of AI for Europe. The full-day gathering will take place in the AI House in Amsterdam on the 11th of December 2025.
The event will unite policymakers, founders, corporate leaders, and academics for an in-depth, cross-sector dialogue on how Europe can accelerate responsible AI adoption while staying competitive globally. With AI regulation, investment, and innovation policy high on the EU agenda, the discussions will focus on actionable strategies to unlock Europe’s full potential.
The European Commission is organising this event with the support of the EU-funded Innovation Radar Bridge and StepUp StartUps initiatives, where EU-Startups is one of the proud consortium partners.
Both initiatives have recently published data-driven reports focused on Europe’s increasingly important role in the global AI landscape. Policy insights and recommendations from these reports will also be shared during this gathering and drive the discussions.
Through keynotes, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, the AI Policy Day event will connect stakeholders across sectors to exchange knowledge and shape actionable policy recommendations for the next phase of Europe’s AI strategy.
The event’s discussions will revolve around key themes such as strengthening Europe’s competitive AI edge, driving uptake of AI by European industry, addressing the investment gap, and expanding Europe’s AI talent pool.
