Polish real estate firm DL Invest Group is set to develop data centers in Europe in partnership with cloud gaming firm Boosteroid.
The companies this week announced a joint venture partnership to build and develop a network of “modern, high-performance data centers across Europe, equipped with the most powerful cloud infrastructure on the continent.”
The first joint venture projects have already been identified and are in the design and preparation phase. The parties aim to launch the initial facilities – ranging from 20-40MW – with potential for expansion to 50-150MW.
Further details on location and timelines weren’t shared.
“This partnership brings together two fast-growing organizations built from the ground up: one of the most dynamic tech companies globally and the largest private, fully integrated commercial real estate investor and developer in Poland. Together, we are creating unique value and setting a new standard in the European data center and cloud ecosystem,” said Dominik Leszczyński, CEO and founder of DL Invest Group.
DL Invest Group’s portfolio across Poland spans warehouses, self-storage, retail, mixed-use, renewable energy, and now data centers. The company has some €1 billion ($1.2bn) in assets under management.
On its website, DL Invest lists five potential data center development sites – Psary, Bielsko-Biała, Mierzęcice, Siewierz, and Teresin – totaling up to 432MW.
“Our cooperation with DL Invest Group will enable us to build a distributed, scalable, and sustainable network of data centers equipped with the most high-end and innovative cloud in strategic locations across Europe. This is a turning point for Europe’s digital sovereignty and global AI leadership,” added Ivan Shvaichenko, CEO of Boosteroid.
Founded in Ukraine in 2016 and launched in 2019, Boosteroid is a cloud gaming service that allows users to play on-demand video games without the need for a dedicated console. The company claims more than 6.5 million users and bills itself as the world’s third-largest cloud gaming provider.
Boosteroid has a GPU-based infrastructure network spanning 28 data centers. It uses AMD-powered hardware developed by ASUS. The firm’s network spans the UK, Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Romania, Ukraine, Sweden (Stockholm), Serbia (Belgrade), and the US, among others.
The company has previously signed a GPU hosting deal with Bit Digital and its cloud unit, White Fiber. In the US, the firm has hardware in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Jacksonville, Florida; Omaha, Nebraska; North Carolina; Texas, Illinois; and Washington.
Boosteroid is a CRA customer in Czechia and a DC2SCALE customer in Paris, France. The company deployed hardware in Germany last year within a facility in Düsseldorf. In Brazil, Boosteroid is partnering with cloud provider Latitude.sh, which has two locations around São Paulo.
The company launched new locations in Brazil and Poland (the latter in partnership with Polcom) in 2025. Over the summer, the company announced planned expansions to existing deployments in the US, Italy, Spain, and Romania.
