LSL has hosted its seventh annual New Homes Forum, designed to facilitate cross-industry collaboration to bring home ownership within reach for more people.
The exclusive industry forum brought together leading players across the UK housing market, including housebuilders, mortgage brokers, high street lenders, specialist lenders and regional building societies, surveyors and housing associations, along with representatives from the Home Builders Federation and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
The event welcomed approximately 160 delegates on the day and was sponsored by partners including market leading high street lenders.
Director of Strategic Partnerships at LSL, Craig Hall, led a series of panel discussions on ways in which the industry can work effectively to support enhanced delivery of new homes and improve the homebuying experience for customers, as well as keeping ahead of new trends in affordable housing, energy efficient homes and the green agenda.
Rob Owens, head of research at LSL’s surveying business e.surv, led discussions on valuation data, trends and insights in the new homes sector.
Craig Hall, director of Strategic Partnerships, said: “Our annual forum is an important event in the new homes and lending industry calendar, bringing together all the key players to discuss how we as an industry can support the development of much-needed new housing stock in the UK.
“Creating and developing new products and services is a key factor in enhancing demand. The combination of the market leading positions across our businesses means that we are perfectly positioned to help support this critical plank of the UK economy.”
