Amplifiles, a Tampere-based PropTech startup, has secured a pre-seed round from a group of angel investors alongside Innovestor’s Angel CoFund. The company develops software that converts real estate listing photos into short marketing videos, a process it says can be done in minutes. The funding will be directed toward product development, partnership building, and international expansion as the startup looks to position itself in a market where video content is increasingly expected in property listings.
Amplifiles is a PropTech startup based in Tampere, Finland, building software that automatically converts still property photos into short, ready-to-use videos. The tool is designed for real estate professionals and photographers who need video content to promote listings but lack the time or resources for traditional production. Instead of relying on manual editing or external video services, users can generate videos within minutes, allowing them to scale video output alongside the volume of property listings they handle.
“Our mission is to make professional-quality video accessible to real estate professionals without friction,” said Tommi Keränen, CEO and co-founder of Amplifiles. “We believe every property listing should include a video. Until now, high production costs have limited video mainly to luxury homes. With this funding, we can accelerate product development and ensure that high-quality video becomes a standard feature for every listing.”
The company was founded by a team with backgrounds in SaaS development and digital product scaling, and it has begun attracting customers across several international markets. Its product is emerging at a time when the real estate sector is experiencing a shift toward video-first marketing, as buyers increasingly expect to see video tours and dynamic content in online property listings. While video has traditionally been associated with high-end or luxury properties due to production costs, Amplifiles aims to make it feasible for mid-market and everyday listings as well.
The startup’s approach reflects a broader trend in property technology, where automation and AI are being used to streamline marketing workflows and reduce costs for agents. To support its next phase of growth, the company is investing in product development and hiring software engineers, while also seeking to strengthen its network of partnerships within the real estate and photography industries.
