Revolut founder Nik Storonsky is best known for his day job as the CEO of Europe’s most valuable private tech company.
But the entrepreneur also has a side hustle as an investor. He’s made angel investments in French insurtech Alan, open banking fintech Tink and most recently tokenised money market startup Spiko.
In May this year, QuantumLight, his AI-powered VC firm, closed a $250m fund. Storonsky is a significant backer of the fund along with other billionaire tech founders, VCs and institutional investors. To differentiate itself from the pack, QuantumLight touts an AI-led decision-making platform, which analyses 10bn data points to track down potential investments.

Founded by Stanford University dropout Parth Garg, Aspora is a consumer fintech building financial services for diaspora communities. Aspora’s flagship product is its remittance product, which enables overseas Indian nationals to send money to their home country from their country of residence at the same exchange rates you’d see on Google.
QuantumLight invested in the fintech in May this year, alongside Greylock Partners, Hummingbird Ventures, and Sequoia, as part of its $53 million Series B funding round.
Ben

Ben offers a platform that aims to simply the management of employee benefits and rewards. The HR tech company’s other investors include Atomico, Cherry Ventures and SeedCamp.
Berry Street
Founded: 2023
HQ: New York, US
Berry Street provides a healthtech platform that connects patients with dietitians covered by insurance. Northzon, and A-Force Ventures also investors in the company.
Builder
Founded: 2017
HQ: San Francisco, US
US-based Builder — not to be confused with Builder.ai — allows developers and businesses to build and optimise web applications without the need for coding. QuantumLight is an investor in the company alongside Greylock Partners and Imaginary Ventures.
DeepScribe

Healthtech DeepScribe provides an AI-powered medical scribe services which transcribes and creates notes out of conversations between doctors and patients. QuantumLight is an investor in the company alongside Sequoia, Index Ventures and others.
Dynamo AI

Dynamo AI offers enterprise clients software solutions to monitor and reduce AI model risks. Soma Capital, Nexus Ventures and Samsung Next are among the other investors in the company.
Ghost

Ghost provides a private retail distribution platform that offers retail brands a way to sell excess inventory quickly.

Lovable

Lovable provides an AI platform to build web apps through a chatbot function and is currently one of Europe’s hottest startups after hitting a $1.8bn valuation last month.
QuantumLight invested in that $200m funding round alongside Accel and Creandum.
Marq Vision

US-based Marqvision enables companies to automatically detect and remove counterfeit products sold online via its platform.
QuantumLight invested in the company in October 2024 as part of its $16m Series A alongside Y Combinator and Altos Ventures.
Monta

Danish climate tech Monta provides a platform for businesses to manage EV charging stations. QuantumLight invested in Monta as part of its €80m Series B alongside Creandum and GreenPoint Partners.
Mesh Connect

Payments fintech Mesh Connect allows customers connects with exchange, wallets and payment service providers to enable purchases with crypto. Mesh Connect works with companies such as PayPal, Revolut and Metamask.
QuantumLight invested in Mesh Connect as part of its $82m Series B in March this year.
NG.CASH

HQ: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
NG.CASH offers users banking services such as a prepaid card, savings accounts and is also reportedly looking at a stablecoin product.
The Brazilian fintech received funding from QuantumLight as part of its $26.5m Series B funding round, which was led by New Enterprise Associates and featured participation from Monashees, Andreessen Horowitz, Daphni and Endeavour Catalyst.
Rad AI

Rad AI builds AI-powered solutions for radiologists to automate patient follow-ups and save time. The healthtech startup works with large-scale healthcare providers, radiology groups and individual radiologists.
QuantumLight invested in Rad AI in June last year, according to a Bloomberg report.
Robin AI

Robin AI is a legal tech company that’s developed an AI-power platform focused on contract management for legal departments in large corporations.
The London-based legal tech raised from QuantumLight as part of its €24m Series B in January last year.
SiPay
Founded: 2018
HQ: Istanbul, Turkey
Turkish fintech SiPay offers payments products for both consumers and businesses. Some of the products offered by the fintech include a digital wallet, virtual and physical point of sale systems and open banking services.
QuantumLight invested in SiPay alongside Boston-based VC firm Elephant as part of its $78m Series B in April this year.
Together.AI

Together AI provides private cloud infrastructure for training, fine-tuning and running AI models. Other investors in the startup include Kleiner Perkins, Nvidia and Greycroft Partners.
