Stockholm-based Tzafon has raised €8.3 million in a record-breaking pre-Seed round to ramp up its compute power, refine its autonomous agent tech, and roll out Lightcone—an AI agent built to act across any digital platform on your behalf. The round was led by HV Capital, with backing from Streamlined VC, Kakao VC, Oliver Jung, and angels from OpenAI and xAI, cementing it as Sweden’s largest pre-Seed to date. Founded in 2024, Tzafon is developing multi-agent systems that can perform complex digital tasks, setting a new bar for action-oriented AI. With this funding, the team will scale its proprietary infrastructure and push forward its mission to close the gap between human intent and machine execution.
Tzafon is a technology and research company focused on advancing scalable systems for machine intelligence. With teams in San Francisco and Tel Aviv, the company develops infrastructure and software frameworks for autonomous agents, with applications ranging from browser automation to complex task orchestration across digital environments.
“Our vision at Tzafon is to build agents from the ground up that are capable of collaborating across any digital, and in the future physical environment,” said Noah Löfquist, CEO and Co-founder of Tzafon. “This round enables us to significantly expand our compute resources to train smarter, better, and more agentic AI models. And launch Lightcone, which will reduce the friction between intention and action across any digital device.”
Tzafon’s engineering work includes low-latency inference systems and large-scale deployment architectures. Its products, such as Northstar Agents and WayPoint, are built to support enterprise-level automation and parallelized workflows. The company operates in the B2B SaaS space and is engaged in ongoing research to address the challenges of safety, coordination, and efficiency in agentic AI.
