Helsinki-based Hamina Wireless has raised a seed funding round led by Nordic early-stage investor Inventure, with Superhero Capital and First Fellow joining as co-investors. The company develops software tools for designing wireless networks, including support for Wi-Fi 6E and CBRS. The platform also features automation capabilities for switch planning, cabling, and infrastructure components such as IDFs and MDFs. The funding will be used to accelerate product development and support the company’s growth in new markets. Castrén & Snellman advised Inventure on the transaction.

Founded in 2021, Hamina Wireless develops software for the design of wireless networks. The company’s platform provides tools to plan and visualize networks with support for technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E and CBRS, as well as features for automating switch planning, cabling, and infrastructure layout. Headquartered in Finland, Hamina Wireless brings together a multidisciplinary team of engineers, developers, and specialists working across markets in Europe and North America.

Hamina’s approach focuses on reducing the complexity and time required for high-quality wireless network deployments in enterprise, industrial, and public settings. The company’s product is used in both commercial and mission-critical environments, where reliable wireless connectivity is essential.

With this latest funding round, Hamina Wireless plans to scale its engineering and product teams, enhance user experience, and expand its presence in North America and other international markets.

Lead investor Inventure is one of the most active early-stage venture capital firms in the Nordic and Baltic regions, with investments in over 90 companies across sectors including deep tech, consumer internet, and software. Its portfolio includes companies such as Wolt, Swappie, Jobbatical, and Stravito. Inventure focuses on Seed and Series A investments and manages €377 million in assets across its Helsinki and Stockholm offices.

Legal counsel for the transaction was provided by Castrén & Snellman, a leading Finnish law firm advising on mergers and acquisitions, venture deals, and complex commercial transactions.

The round marks an important step for Hamina Wireless as the demand for advanced network infrastructure continues to grow with the proliferation of connected devices, remote work, and private wireless deployments.
