Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised wefox Holding AG (wefox), a European insurance platform headquartered in Switzerland, in connection with its financing and restructuring program.
On 7 July 2025, wefox announced it secured funding of €151 million, consisting of a €76 million capital raise primarily from existing investors and a refinancing of an existing credit facility with €75 million from Searchlight Capital Partners’ credit fund, Searchlight Opportunities Fund II. The funding follows the completion of a successful business restructuring program in various jurisdictions and changes to the governance framework of wefox.
White & Case advised wefox on the financial restructuring together with Swiss-law firm Homburger.
