
LRG’s Daniel Collis promoted to managing director, sales
LRG (formerly Leaders Romans Group) has promoted Daniel Collis to Managing Director, Sales, overseeing the Chancellors, Gibbs Gillespie, and Portico brands.
Collis, a long-serving member of LRG, began his career as a sales negotiator at Romans in 2005.
His most recent position was sales director at Gibbs Gillespie, where he led expansion initiatives and operational improvements across the network.
In his new post, Collis will be responsible for overseeing a network of more than 60 branches with a remit to enhance customer experience, unify operational standards and support the integration of newly acquired offices. These include the Chancellors network, which joined the Group in May 2025.
Collis has also been closely involved in several of LRG’s strategic acquisitions and office launches, known for combining commercial rigour with a people-first leadership style.

Greg Crosse and Tim Jones join Savills

Savills has strengthened its Exeter-based residential team with the appointment of two highly experienced agents.
Born and raised in Exeter, Greg Crosse has joined the business as a director with more than 25 years of agency experience. He began his career in 2001 in the prime central London market, working predominantly in South Kensington and Chelsea.
Crosse returned to the west country in 2009 and spent five years with a well-respected regional estate agency based in Exeter. He joins Savills from an international firm where he was a partner, specialising in prime property in the Home Counties.
His role within Savills will see him focus on prime property sales within the greater Exeter area, and into East Devon and Dartmoor.

Tim Jones has been appointed as an associate director within the Savills team. Originally from the South Hams, he built a career in the property sector in South West London. For Savills he will focus on the South Hams market.
The appointments of Crosse and Jones add further weight to Savills Exeter-based team of six residential agents, who together offer more than 85 years of collective experience and expertise, operating across Devon and West Somerset.

Charnock Bates announces two new appointments

Charnock Bates, part of Yorkshire property consultancy Walker Singleton, has announced two new appointments.
Richard Walker joins the West Yorkshire-basedestate agency as residential valuer, whilst Alice MacLaverty has been hired as marketing coordinator and property copywriter.
Walker brings more than 30 years’ professional property experience to Charnock Bates and has previously held advisory positions at varying regional and national property firms. In his new role, he is tasked with appraising high-value homes and advising on a diverse mix of properties.
With a decade of marketing experience, MacLaverty joins from Mirfield-based full-service marketing agency The Bigger Boat.
She is tasked with marketing the properties listed with Charnock Bates, including writing the descriptive copy for each of the unique homes.

The firm currently employs over 60 people across its offices, including ones in Halifax, Huddersfield, and Leeds.
