M&A volumes jump as US bidders snap up UK tech

White & Case partner Patrick Sarch spoke to City AM about the sharp increase in UK public M&A activity in the first half of this year, with data from the Firm’s M&A Explorer platform showing top bidders coming from the UK (41%), closely followed by the US (35%). US investors have shown a particular interest in the tech sector, with June alone seeing the highest deal volume so far this year.
