Flowstep, a Tallinn-based designtech startup, has raised $2.6 million in seed funding—bringing its total to $4.5 million—to support the global rollout of its AI-native design platform. The round was led by Supernode Global, with participation from Adesso Ventures, Angel Invest, Dnipro VC, Iron Wolf Capital, and angel investors including Anton Borzov (WhatsApp), alongside follow-on investments from Tera Ventures and Specialist VC. Flowstep focuses on augmenting early-stage product design with a system it calls “vibe design,” using a combination of LLMs, reinforcement learning, and computer vision to generate detailed design assets from simple prompts. The funding will be used to expand the team, enhance the product, and introduce enterprise features as it targets design studios, product teams, and tech startups globally.
Founded in 2023, Flowstep develops tools for design teams that aim to streamline early-stage product design. The platform combines large language models, reinforcement learning, and computer vision to generate user flows, wireframes, and design assets based on simple prompts, while maintaining manual control options for designers. The company positions its approach as “vibe design,” distinguishing itself from automation-focused tools by emphasizing design augmentation and team workflows.
The new capital will be used to grow the engineering team, further develop the platform, and expand enterprise features such as governance and compliance, particularly as the company targets adoption among design studios, product teams, and tech startups in the US and other markets.
