Spain’s ACS has fully acquired the Chilean construction firm Fleischmann.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Fleischmann specializes in “industrial assembly, energy systems, mechanical installations, HVAC, commissioning, maintenance, and construction” with a focus on “data centers, industrial facilities, and civil engineering works.”
The acquisition was made through Dragados, ACS’ construction arm.
CEO of Dragados, Santiago Garcia Salvado,r said: “This acquisition strengthens our presence in Latin America and enhances our ability to support global clients with advanced digital infrastructure solutions.”
During the company’s Q3 2024 results, it stated that around 300MW worth of projects were being developed in Chile. The acquisition is likely linked to this pipeline.
ACS is best known in the US as the owner of Turner Construction. The company owns or has stakes in Hochtief, CIMIC, Leighton Asia, Ventia, and numerous others. Data center clients include Meta and Vantage.
