Quantum component manufacturer Infleqtion has closed a $100 million Series C funding round that saw participation from new and existing investors, including Glynn Capital, Morgan Stanley’s Counterpoint Global fund, and SentinelOne.
The company said it would use the funding to scale its neutral atom-based quantum computers and accelerate the development of its quantum-enabled positioning, navigation, and timing offerings.
Infleqtion also announced a new go-to-market partnership with military and government technology integrator SAIC that will see it deploy quantum sensing technologies, including atomic clocks, quantum RF communication, and inertial sensing, into defense and aerospace applications.
Founded as ColdQuanta and spun out from the University of Colorado in 2007, Infleqtion develops and designs instruments and systems for quantum technology applications. It is developing neural atom-based quantum technology and using rubidium-based atomic clocks for its positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) offering, known as Tiqker.
In a statement announcing the funding round, the company said it had generated almost $30m in 2024 and has a customer pipeline topping $200m.
In March 2025, Infleqtion announced it was deploying a quantum computing lab aboard a UK Royal Navy vessel. Dubbed QPOD, the 20ft ISO shipping container will be placed onto a military cargo ship for a multi-day voyage later this year, and Infleqtion will operate the system and see how it performs in real-world conditions as part of a test of quantum navigation technology and “GPS-free navigation.”
The company is also working on the Quantum Enhanced Inertial Navigation Systems (Q-NAV) project, awarded by Innovate UK to develop quantum technologies for PNT. It has previously sold one of its 3U-sized Tiqker atomic clocks to the University of Strathclyde and deployed a quantum computer at the UK’s National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) in Harwell.
“We are harnessing the power of quantum to solve the world’s most urgent and complex challenges,” said Matt Kinsella, CEO of Infleqtion. “This funding fuels our next phase of growth, allowing us to scale transformative technologies with strategic partners who share our vision and serve as go-to-market allies, helping to secure nations and power the next generation of intelligent systems.”
