Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Metso Corporation (Metso) on its issuance of a €300 million 3.750% bond due May 2032 under its euro medium term note (EMTN) programme, and simultaneous approximately €130 cash tender offer for its existing €300 million 4.875 % bond due 2027.
The bond was listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and the proceeds will be used to repayment of some of Metso’s existing indebtedness related to the tender, to refinance existing debt and for general corporate purposes.
Citigroup, Commerzbank, Nordea and SEB acted as joint lead managers for the bond issuance. Citigroup and SEB acted as dealer managers and Citibank as tender agent for the tender offer.
Metso is a Finnish aggregates, mineral processing and metal refining technology and services provider listed on Nasdaq Helsinki.
