Here are the fastest-growing climate techs from Sifted’s ranking of the fastest-growing companies in DACH and CEE, by revenue growth.
Growth in climate tech no longer depends on heavy hardware. Featured startups like Climatiq, Shipzero, and Ampeco are proving that software platforms can scale faster. This trend helps explain moves like former-solar-giant Zolar’s pivot away from hardware installations toward offering SaaS solutions for the green tech installation industry.
Gone are the days when you needed big headcounts to achieve big growth. This year’s top three climate techs — Climatiq, Vok Bikes and Ehoss — have fewer than 30 employees each. This reflects trends in last year’s Sifted 250, a ranking of Europe’s 250 startups by revenue growth, where three out of the top four climate techs had fewer than 15 employees each.
